4/17/2019–Struggle, Uncertainty, and Bogus Smiles.

One’s struggle is hard to admit, it starts with the constant fear of speaking out and worrying that you would be judged for having those thoughts. It can be scary and hard to find a voice.

Fearing rejection, one may shrink away into a little corner; preventing for an opportunity to grow. Fear is hard to overcome, but it’s possible in the long-run. It’s quite common to be anxious, just like it’s normal to fear the inescapable. However, it remains an unhealthy relationship to be in constant fear. Staying trapped in your own abyss separates from those you love. Kept from seeing the truth and forced by your own hand to engage in activities that may seem pointless in the present.

How is it reasonable to live in a state of worry and regret? How is it possible to scurry down in the dark depths of someplace you call “Sanctuary” just to escape from what’s bugging you?

It’s never easy, and with everything going on it sure is hard to smile.

In the end, we’re alone in a world that doesn’t see us for our true potential. Left to fend off intruders that only want us for what prowess we hold. So, stand-up for yourselves, because in the long run we just have a few years to do what we genuinely want to do.
