Starting at 10 a.m., ended at 2 p.m., Salem had the Cherry Blossom Festival Day at the Oregon State Capitol on March 16, 2019.
Despite there not being cherry blossoms, people gathered to celebrate Japanese culture with musical performances, merchandise and food.
A little more explanation for the last bit, these are students from the Ugandan Choir Kids. This was their first show and demonstrated their amazing dance and song techniques with the crowd inside the Capitol.
If you’d like to support my work please feel free to donate as you see fit. As I do not force people to donate, I am always looking to continue what I am doing to showcase what’s happening inside my home state! If you want prints, do feel free to contact me and I will come up with a price to suit the need of getting the photos printed and shipped.
To help me continue with my overall mission of full-filling my dream in showcasing Oregon.
